Recently Iv been ill with glandula fever so I missed a few weeks of uni, I went back today to find that I have an assignment due in 3 weeks.
Im now working my ass off to get it all done:panic:. However I have hit a wall as I cannot think of a realistic idea which i can pull off to get the advertisment done within 3 weeks.:wall:
My scenario is that I am creating an advertisment using 3 still images, to how off a shoe company. The advertisment is more to show how the shoes can sell a lifestyle rather than showing them off.
I have to create a logo-easily done.
But I am stuck with the idea of taking 3 still images (In RAW formatt) and manipulating them to create my advertisment. The largest trouble is thinking of an idea that is different to everyone else in my class, as they are all thinking of doing "no matter what, rain or sun" type of adverts.
I have a studio in which I can take pictures in university but I am pretty stuck for these ideas.
As I see everyone here seems to have some sort of graphical knowledge I though you guys may be able to give me some good ideas? Thanks guys :)

3 different shoes in three different every day scenarios, sounds proper cliche but so does a shoe company.
I did a wicked thing for media when I had to do this. Did it for a football computer game, first image said 'live' with my mate playing xbox, second image said 'the' with him celebrating and third image said 'dream' with him asleep with the controller in his hands. Whole media section was buzzing over it. Shame I basically failed my exams.

haha that sounds cool.
Yeah I got to put stuff together with music etc.
I was thinking of the last images of the box and maybe a shoe on it with the logo. Under all the lights in the studio. But im just trying to catch up on 3 weeks worth of work, however seems most people havnt dont much in my group haha

A rain / shine angle is different to lifestyle
If people buy the shoes to achieve a certain lifestyle then you could photograph scenarios where - I don't know - a builder wears shiney leather shoes on site, trainers being worn in the Ritz etc etc.

Kam's idea is very good imo. Have different shoes in different scenarios which shouldn't be there. Maybe a womans shoe being worn by a woman down the gym, a man in the office and a child in a tree! May be a bit to elaborate though lol!

yeah i like Kams idea, but it says on my brief not to cocnentrate to much on the shoes. More the surroundings and lifestyle.
I was thinking using one trainer as running/hurdles etc.
Then maybe another as kam said a building site would be good
then another in another situation.
Showing my shoes can be good for everything

Have you got to use a set shoe? If so put a pic up so people can get more of an idea.

nope, no set shoe. Its not about what it looks like I dont think. Its just the style it can be worn in. Im guessing if i use a nike shoe i just edit the tick out to make it normal.
Edit: What do you guys think of maybe the idea of a girl infront of the mirror all dolled up checking out her "new shoes"

high heels on the treadmill or stepper.. liking it :D
When you photograph it can include the surrounding area but at the end of the day you do have to show the shoes :) they have to be clearly visible but doesn't have to be a closeup.
