you could always go for a furio graeme mate? then maybe drop in a vtr/s lump at a later stage when u can afford the insurance??

my first year of owning a vtr - i was paying roughly £1500 a year with elephant.co.uk - fully comp, year later it went down by a third which made me smile smileys/smiley4.gif

umm yeah was looking at them before!

the main reason why i wanna change is that its hard going down the 5dr root and i want a little more power! smileys/smiley9.gif

dont b a quiter boyo! i think if you finished off the 5 door - ud get huge praise for it as you're one of very few who are doing it. originality isnt too common any more with saxo's, and if u make a good job on it - ud b a bit of a ledge!

i dare say after a bit of saving and hard graft - u could drop in a vts lump to the 5door and that'l certainly shift a bit more than the 1.1

i dont blame you wanting to take the easy route though, and after all - about 95% of the members on here did

dont do it man cmon dude!

we need to keep the 1.1 numbers up, wer a dying breed!

ud b a bit of a ledge!

i prefer to say Leg.End smileys/smiley2.gif

stay with the 1.1 and 4get the vts lump aswell, more money more problems is wots likely to happen. i been eharin all these problems that vts's get and hardly any for the 1.1 n my 1.1 eint had no problems(touch wood) and my mts vts has had roughly £2000 spent on it in the last 3 months jus on gettin it to work proerly

i aint had any probs with my vts. 54000 on the clock.
insurance groups for each saxo.
vts group 14
vtr7
furio5
vsx 1.6i 6
1.0i3
1.1i4
1.4i4 to 6
so a 1.4i to a vtr wont be that much difo on insurance realy.

Do what you feel is best. I love my VTR, its coming along slowly but I am thinking about changing & putting a VTS lump in mine. Whenever you buy a car, you always wish you had got a different one.

Stick with that, get it looking the bollcks then stick a bigger lump in it!

u do no it cost more to insure a saxo vtr with a conversion to a vts than it is to buy a vts.
