Hi guys at the minute a lot of people seem to be having girlfriend trouble, well
im another and could do with some help.
last weekend i went down to london to visit my gf at uni.
we had a great time on friday nite and then went shopping all of saturday daytime. we then went out to a club on sat nite and had a good time aswell anyway i'll get to the point.
when we got back to her flat sat nite she decides to tell me that shes found a new man. :( some emo bastard that is probably the complete opposit to me.
thing is i was not expecting this and i thought our relationship would last through her being at uni as i loved her very much. i was really pissed off and just got pissed and went to sleep.
so far theres nothing i can do to help stop me thinking about it.
and im ashamed to say yes i have tried to drown my sorrows and go to strip clubs but none of this helps.
has anyone been through this or have any suggestions

Sounds like she had trouble telling you or maybe she was giving it one last go with you before making up her mind ?

If you spent a shitload of money on her then you should be pissed off !!!

Do you still talk to her ? Is there any hope in trying your relationship again ?

Are you not at University yourself?

When I left for university 2 years ago I noticed that everyone who was in a relationship broke up before they left because they knew they wouldnt be able to hack a long distane thing, or tried it and came to an agreement that because of the distance issue that it'd be best to be apart.

I myself have been with my girlfriend for 3 years now 2 years at University ;) she went to leicester and I went to Birmingham, not too far:y:

There will be another lass bud don't worry too much about it, its annoying she found someone whilst she was still with you though and if she doesnt contact you shes a bit harsh.

its the fact you can do as you please for 3 years then toodle off home and nobody there is for the wiser.

Girls can fuck anything in sight then go back to him 200miles away as '2 sexual partners' girls lol...

i dont see how sleeping with a fatty 'to boost your confidence' would actually boost it?

surely it would just make you feel like youve gone down in the world?? lol

exactly... LOL!!

itll give you more confidence to get with someone you like, who is hot, who has personailty etc... rather than banging 100 fat pigs whos bodies look like a beached whale in bed.

Plenty of relationships crumble when people go to uni, unfortunately people start new lives and have new people in their daily life and it becomes a case of 'out of site, out of mind' with their partners who are not at uni.

During my first year almost everyone split from who they were with before uni (including myself) and the only couple who didnt were bonking behind each others back.

Its shit but life moves on and you'll have a period of feeling shit, maybe really shit but you'll find someone else. Get yourself out and socialise and in places to meet new ladies. Even get yourself on something like Match.com if going out doesnt work.

i feel for u buddy. i went to new york for a week in feb, i got back and found out my best mate was sleeping with her when i was gone. was heart broken. i did the wrong thing, and kaned the crap out of my saxo and got very drunk for a few days. i found doing something helped me take my mind of it. i used to do downhill mountain biking, so i got my old kona out, and stripped it down, to every bearing nut and bolt, re serviced it and re-built it. and the whole time i was doing it i stopped thinking of her. there probably no quick fix buddy but i really hope it all works out for ya.

Yeah bollocks to her mate, it happens to everyone sooner or later, happened to me last year, thats when i bought my vts. Spent my spare time gettin it bak on the road, which took my mind off it. Eventually you'll forget her and find something better. I did, you'll be ok, trust.
