Disaster struck last night!!!

My broadband and cable TV DIED!!! Nightmare!

Had to phone them up this morning and get them to send all manner of test signals to the box. It briefly chirped into life for a few moments, so hopefully when I get home from work today it will be working. smileys/smiley5.gif

Go Idea:

Everytime it f00ks it's self...

Unplug
Take card out of front
Count to 26 while wafting the card around to get some air to it
Can give the card a quick blow aswell
Pop card back in
Plug back in

Try that lot sometime..

It's works once for me...

Tried that a zillion times mate... There must have been a problem with the signal, as it kept saying cable unplugged and other errors.

Ive not done anything though and it was working this morning.

Ive cancelled the engineer that was supposed to come this afternoon (as i couldnt get out of work anyway)... so fingers crosses its still working for tonight.

We had NTL, never had many problems apart from the modem overheating and metling smileys/smiley5.gif

Hope it all get sorted and working.

BTW, what is CS like, thinking of getting it?

Cheers,
