Help.
I really cant make my bloody mind up with my TV. I created a thread a while back asking the best way to mount my 32" TV. The plan was to make a desk the full lengh of one of my walls then mount my TV above that. Realising a 2m long peice of wood wouldnt fit into the Clio i gave up on the idea until now. Mrs needs to make a trip to Ikea tomorrow and i need to drive one of her dads vans for her. So now ive got the van for the day/weekend should i go and collect the size of wood i require.
I have no idea. Help. I need to know before this afternoon as i will have to order my TV mount.

It all depends how close you like to sit by the TV when on xbox etc.
See I like to be able to see the edges of the tele from the corner of my eyes I sit that close.
Personally I think it'll look class if you done it. I remember your thread and it sounded a mint idea.
Why not do it and if you dont like it just take it down and put up a picture? lol

First things first.
Your door opens the wrong way, kick it off its hinges and rehang it so it opens "into" the room not "into" corner lol. Unless im reading your door drawing wrong lol
Do you sit on the end of the bed to play Xbox?
How high up the wall you mounting it?

Only downside to wall mounting is when you upgrade or take it off. Leaves the holes in the wall.
But the bonus is the height you can mount it at, its perfect for a bedroom veiwing postion.
Ive left mine on the stand because i move my room around too much.

Would look smart as hell, but for me personally I would feel too far away from it.

I'd do it mate, where your tv sits now it's not the best angle to watch it when you're in bed
I know this from experience

How are you going to do the wiring? Dig it into the wall and plaster over? Or run in in one of the plastic channels?
I havent mounted my tv in the living room or my "xbox room" aka spare room purely because:
a) Digging the channel in the wall and hiding cables and plastering over is NOT a hard task. But your fucked when you want to add a new Blue ray player, HDMI lead, new playstation 65, xbox 5760. Opeing that channel and adding to it is going to become a mighty pain in the arse.
b) Plastic channels are cool and allow you to expand but looking n00b as funk in a main room.
However in teh bedroom the TV is on the wall to create extra space and I have used one of the plastic channels as no one sees that expect me and the wife so I can deal with it there.
