Speed/Rev problem

Ok, I get to about 90-95mph in 4th gear then @ 4k of revs it just seems to die, not gaining any more speed and the revs just wont go any higher, change to 5th and still the same?

anyone have any ideas on what this could be, cos I just cant seem to go any faster than 100mph now? (I know i shouldnt be doing these speeds but you know what happens @ 2am on the ringroad when another car fancys a lil friendly race smileys/smiley17.gif

bollocks i have heard of this one before and can i feck remember the solution to it, post it in engines section as well and ratty should be on a some point, he should be able to answer it
