i would of thaught it will be fairly easy to fit but if its universal cant some one just come along with one of those fobs and open your car? but for 20 odd quid inc delivery i might buy one lol tell me if you open somes car accidently in asda when you have fitted it lol
my car is immobilised tho so they wont be getting in lol

ite mate i bought a kit the other day out of maplins for 20 not to bad to fit all you need to do is pop door card off drill small hole roughly 1/2 inch halfway between the lock and door pin making sure its in line with the door pin as the metal rod connected to the pin is what you connect the other rod to then use the little connecting clips supplied to join the old metal door pin bar to your new one then from there attach to your actuater and bolt down making sure its no obstructing the window from coming down.

once thats down just run wires through exsiting gromit to inside the car the all you need is a earth which can be found right by the drivers side gromit which you thread the wires through and a 12v supply.

hopes this helps i had never fitted one of these kits and it took me 2 hours for both sides

to be fair they look a bit complicated. lol, but im too lazy not to have central locking, i think if i didnt have it the entire contents of my car would be gone cos i could never be arsed to lock it, lol

they come yet matey ??

Its Here!

RUBBISH!!!! :zainy:

I've got 3 door, but the kit was for 4 door. I was going to use one of the looks for one of the rear doors and put that in the boot instead. So basically a door lock is undoing the boot.

Went to fit it today, popped off door car and peeled back insolation etc tok out lock and couldn't figure out how to install it. I mean its like i'm missing something or it just dosn't fit. Was there i'd say a good hour and a half me and my dad trying to figure it out. In the end i said forget it and i'm going to return it.

I wouldn't had thought the FOB would be all the same for all the locks sold. Like you wouldn't buy a pad lock with all the same keys world wide, whats the point of a pad lock then :S. Plus its electronic so all a computer has to do is change a fregency and then its unique.

So the moto is... BUY CHEAP... BUY TWICE (Its been said to me many times)

I'm going to send it back, get a refund and possibly purchase another one.

Ive fitted one, its quite fiddly and extremely aggravating but worth it imo.
I cut away a square under my door pin and attached the clap there, then just a case of fiddling around bending the pin till it works fine. If you need any help just ask.
