Right, i brought a advent 9117 17" muiltimedia laptop in december last year just after christmas, bosting 1gb ram 120gb hd ect ect

Well today i get offerd 2gb ram for my pc for cheap, so i siad yeah okay took the back pannel off my pc, removed the ram.. and was horrified to the site of
"DDR II 512MB" On the back of the stick of ram!!! what a farse, in the system tray it says i have 1014MB ram wich its supposed to have, have i been conned or what ?? the was also a note that came with my pc saying that "devise manager may report incorrect processor information" would that account for the ram aswell ?

I just feel conned, ino the pcs nearly a year old thers bits falling off it and its scratched to peices, but its been used like over 6 hours everyday for the past year so what can i do :( ?
