go for a spax kit mate. they are currently on offer (with £100 off).
look in the 'registered members discounts' section and speak to john at 2modified. but this deal ends at the end of september.

when lowering a mk2, its best to get new power steering pipes, coz you can wear threw them when the car is lowerd more than 50mm i think?
ABP motorsport sell the modified power steering pipes to combat this problem smileys/smiley2.gif

when down 60mm the PAS pipe rubs on the driveshaft (driver's side). all you have to do is lever/bend it out of the way, no need to spend any money! smileys/smiley4.gif
Also, gmax suspension is apparently notorious for being inaccurate with the amount the springs lower the car by. imo go with bilstein (especially the shortened shocks) if you want a 60mm drop.

if the torsion bar is ceased on the back that can cause a few problems too when lowering as they can be hard to get out.
