can i spray my rocker cover with just normal spray paint or does it have to be high temp paint

Hammerite paint is pritty good bud!! used it on few engines now.........:y::p

I didnt use high temp paint and mines fine! Been on car for over a year!

if u prime and laquear it and leave a while to cure, then apparently it doesnt. to be on the safe side i threw on the hammerite :)

apparently laquear takes a week to cure. for the engine bay things get quite toasty so if it wer me i would leave it a week atleast. or u could always opt for the sprayable hammerite

lacquer it and then bake it on in your oven.
