just bought my first saxo (at night) so coulnt check it out propa
the cap to the head had a milky substance on it n there was no oil in it!
i filled it up n the milky stuff aint come back :wacko:
any ideas what it was
oh the car had been stood still for a month so could it have just been a bit of condensation (hopes):P

could be where it was stood but could be something to do with the headgasket. Get it checked out mate, better safe then sorry :y:

I would defo get that checked out mate. Bit of advice (dont buy a car in the dark)

probs jsut because its been stood, just finished spraying my bros front bumper, his cars been in and out the garage just moving from the garage onto the drive for a month and its built up some milky shit under the cap from short periods of being on and stud

It will just condensation if it's been stood a month.
If you are running it daily, then check it again in a week to 2 weeks, you should find it's gone. If not, then possibly be the headgasket.

check for shit in the coolant tank aswell, be like sludgy stuff if it is oild coolant mix
