First attempt

Hey people,

My family is mad about photography but i have never been too keen on it until recently. My bro pointed out a nice and simple (yet effective) application called Picasa. Lets you edit RAW files and is an easy way of managing all your photos.

Anyway, i had a quick play with a photo and after about 20 minutes the outcome was this:

I rate picassa.

20mins on a photo though is a long time using that software, its very basic and useful for batch processing very very quickly.

To be fair most of the 20 mins was spent figuring out what did what.

First time I've ever used any kind of photo editing software as well so no doubt most of the trivial stuff it has, i thought was fantastic! :)

I use it for most of my stuff, purely because i dont have time to faff about editing as clients need photos in some cases to go to press within hours of me shooting them (not good when need to travel aswell lol)

Its a good fun programe, very very siple like i said, and especially good for batch resising and keeping the OE sise as originals (yes a certain button is fucked on keyboard)

Having real issues linking from Picasa web albums. Photobucket reckons i have an account already so i now have to wait 48 hours until i can set one up :<

I dont use picasa web albums, just use it for quick batch processing.

just use photofucket to link pics yo!

I had to delete this so called account i had previously made as it was registered to my email address. Have to wait 48 hours for it to complete!!
