Just had a thought about this and don't know if its been done or not, but might be a good'un for next to no bucks....

Instead of having normal white reversing lights, why not replace those bulbs with the blue tinted ones? Dead easy to do, will only cost pennies, and its a little bit different.

If you all think its a sh*te idea, then fair play!!!

they don't glow blue, the glass is blue but that's it, plus the plastic lens is pretty much opaque anyway

Different I guess, but isnt illegal to have blue lights as thats what the police use?

Will only show when reversing tho so chances are the police wont see them.

its illegal to change it to any lights.

nobody will know what your doing if they see a blue light instead of a white one. could cause a crash pretty easily.

mot fail aswell, they would check the reverse lights if they are working, and say they are blue, then charge you about 40 quid for new bulbs lol

hmm, i wouldnt want to do anything that could increase my sax's chance of being in a crash. i could be very dangerous as people wont know if your reversing, but if they're the white/blue lights then it should be ok and look cool.

can you get bulbs like that, that fit it?

What about when it is dark, i know the white light doesn't iluminate much but it does work so you can see what is around, where as with blue it would be a different story.

Already been done.

My mate has had them on his Vectra C for quite a while now.
