how the hell do i change my name on it and take it off automatic sign in?

Not sure on changing your name,

Also not sure with the new dash etc but should be in under your profile settings at the bottom where you edit your bio/motto etc should be auto sign in, should be able to change it from there.

Ok then,

turn it on, go 'My Xbox'

press right once

Press A

Choose edit profile

choose Gamertag.

Costs 800 MSP to change it. Make sure its something you like,

To turn off auto sign in

Press the xbox guide button

Scroll right to 'Settings'

choose 'Profile'

choose auto sign in

no not my actual gamer tag my msn name on the xbox is completely different to the one on my comp

Don't think you can change your name on msn via the xbox.

Instructions above to disable auto sign in :)
