a lot of machines come with an option to create a recovery disc within the start menu - programs. What PC is it you have?

If you bought the computer new then phone the support line and say u need to install the operating system again and ask for the CD. Thats what i did n they sent me 2 lots of them :y:

Umm I had this with my old laptop. If you press F10 at start up when it's going through all the black and white screens then it will take you to the re-start bit

Kelly is right.. I'm sure this is the same with packard bell.. there is a system recovery or something along those lines which formats the computer and puts it back to original. Restart the machine and check what comes up .. It flashes on and off the screen quickly though

Should be as mark said, they'll have the images stored on a random partition on your drive, so all it does is copy it over and bobs your uncle!
