Is there a thread on this...if so can someone point me toit.....if not, how easy is it? Want to do it on thursday in my college, leave it in there over night and get it on friday.
Is it best to take the calipers off the disks etc?
Help please :)
Thanks

there is a guide in the premium section
its so easy to do tbh
best to take the carrier and caliper off, only a few bolts, take pads out, quick wire brush down, quick sand then wipe over with some methylated spirits
can either spray or brush on, just use some hammerite, its as good as anything

well yes, just take note how they come off but they are very easy, same with rears, pistons on the rears screw back in
please dont bump a thread up either, it was only like half an hour old, people will get round to answering it

dont take the callipers off tbh
just mask them well thats the trick to a good finish, with masking tape it quite easy to know which bits to do and which bits not too,
before masking them get a brillo pad or sumin with a hard brisk surface to clean them
then get a towel and dry em
then mask em
primer small amount
wait 20
primer again
wait 20
Possibly primer again, depends how white... if not wack on ur colour dont overspray , running = bad
you want to do lots of layers that are thin, wait 15-30 mins between sprays then after few more colours laquer if u want them to be shiny and wack ur wheel back on and leave overnight...
hope this elps

loads easier to take the calipers off tbh, if you know what your doing then do it, because you will miss a load out if you dont
masking but with only a few bolts holding them in its very easy, just need to support them on something as you dont really want to be disconnecting the lines (well you can but will need filling back up and bleeding)

if i use hammerite i dont need to primer or out?

tbh you dont really need primer at all, primer is used to fill sanding marks and to help you see flat spots on body panels etc
for calipers just sand and whack some hammerite on, hammerite is thick paint so will fill any sanding marks and also smooths itself out (smooth look hammerite)
