I been looking at getting a FLI trap 12, now the amp on it as its an active enclosure also has 2 speaker outputs, anyone what wattage these are? ive looked on vibes site and cant find nothing. Would it be suitable to drive component speakers? or is a 2nd amp better?

i think the 12inch subs are 1000 watt each 10inch are 800 and 15inch are 1200 :)

and i would recomend a 2nd amp you could get a FLI amp prity cheap like a 600 watt one but i would use the subs amp tbh

Wouldent * sorry just got up

Yeh, i would buy a 2nd amp for your speakers mate not for loudness but for quality but if your strap for cash you could always try the subs one i gess

i wouldnt used the subs amp its rms rating is probably extremely close to that of the sub and you'd just end up underpowering it...

Hmmm

Thinking of getting these Vibe SA50 (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VIBE-SA50-13cm-5-25-inch-2-way-component-speaker_W0QQitemZ260325726661QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK _Audio_TV_Electronics_In_Car_Entertainment_GPS_Car _Speakers_PP?hash=item260325726661&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1299%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C 240%3A1318)

And this amp - Vibe black box 1 (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VIBE-BLACKBOX-1-300-Watts-max-2-channel-car-amp-NEW_W0QQitemZ260326855425QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Aud io_TV_Electronics_In_Car_Entertainment_GPS_Car_Amp lifiers_PP?hash=item260326855425&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1299%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C 240%3A1318)

The amp puts out 80, and speakers are rated at 85 so thats not a problem and then an vibe FLI 12, put some 3 ways 10CM in back and i should have a good quality sound system :)

:homme::homme::homme::homme: max power figers are annoying thay dnt mean jack **** and just because a speakers has 1000watts doesnt means its good
