dont worry i know you all panic when you see me posting in this section lol smileys/smiley17.gif just wondering about my fog lights, they dont work for some reason - when i had a body kit on my car i just took the original bumper off and left it in the garden then a few months later i had enough of my kit and had the original bumpers put bk on but colour coded, however since they have been back on my front fog lights dont work (which they were previously as i got pulled over by the police for having them on lol)- could it be a case where the bodyshop havnt connected them and how can i tell?

afraid you'll have to get on your back <snigger> smileys/smiley9.gif and have a look under the bumper to see if they're connected. jacking the front of the car up slightly will help you get a better look. smileys/smiley4.gif

smileys/smiley17.gif the connectors might have just gone rusty and need a good clean from being left outside. i'd try that first, then if that doesn't work you can start to look at the switch itself.

Might be a good idea to get them sorted though - especially if you get pulled a lot. Its supposedly illegal to have fogs on a car that don`t work!! Although I think they`d have to be having a bad night to actually do you for it smileys/happy.gif

its illegal for the front fog lights?
nope. the only legal requirement regarding foglights is that the vehicle has to have a rear fog light. even if you have front ones it doesn't matter if they work or not as they're not tested during an mot. smileys/happy.gif

could be the connectors, fuse or the bulbs. nothing else really other than the switch itself. hope you get them sorted, we dont want you hitting a sheep on the side of a montain when its foggy and wrecking your bumper smileys/smiley9.gif
