So today is a sad day indeed. After months of abuse one of my wheel trims decided it couldn't take it anymore and popped off (quite dramatically i must say) and went rolling off into the sunset. And it had nothing to do with me hitting the curb :boxing: anyway as I don't want to buy any vtr/s alloys yet I was just wondering what could I do to my steelies to make them more appealing lol. I've seen some done so I'm thinking of just spraying them gloss black for now or something? Whats the best way to do it cus would they need preparing first?

I used to just spray with WD40 once a week and they'd keep quite nice

IMO, as standard they look crap. Sprayed black no one will notice and they will look.... crap.

Get some rallye steels, C5 steels or maybe even check out the citroen van steelies as they are silver.

Mrhouston, i alwyas just thought that you had no wheel trims lol, i thought steelies where like the old weller rally wheels. no offense but it just looks like a battered car without wheel trims on.

I did have no wheel trims on lol I took them off as they looked gash, can pull it off in a black car until you get alloys
