hi everyone,
my mate has been having trouble with is ps3 games console and as he has no internet access i said i would take it to mine and see if it could need to be updated.
the problem is that when you turn it on its coming up on the screen with:

the hard disk's file system is corrupted and will be restored
press the ps button to begin

when i press the ps button it just turns off and then comes back on again and it dosent seem to do anythink and it wont let you access the main menu or even load a game.
has anyone experienced this or no what it could be.
thanks all
