road angel, i have one and its never let me down! well worth the money, i got it cheap from ebay, brand new and in a box for 240squid i think.
never had a snooper so i couldnt compare, but i would recomend the road angel. smileys/smiley2.gif smileys/smiley4.gif

you get 6months free subscription with the road angel and a cheap fee if you buy a life subscription, its well worth the money to save your licence. it picks up all the latest cameras and vans and can be updated via you computer and the net.

the only way to decide would be to see each one working.
