i say the same to everybody... try and put the car as much as you can back to standard so it appeals to a wider market and then sell your parts separately.

you would obviously be better off selling it privately. putting it in autotrader and on some saxo websites.
but like the problems i had with my car, it was slightly modified and so it only appealed to the minority. dealers were offering me next to nothing for it because of its year and mileage but again, they don't want to take on a car that is modified as they will also have trouble selling it on.
if i was you, i would advertise for £2,500 (ono). i take it there is no finance outstanding on the car?

nothing secured on the car! lol
£2500 is not a lot considering what ive spent on it. partly y i wanna get rid now. while the milage is reasonable!

well those figures were taken from autotrader, so i wasn't making them up.
i bought my '02 reg. vtr for £6k with 24k miles on it and a year and a half later, i sold it for £3,500 with 56k miles on it. i lost a lot, but im afraid that's life.

u can spend shit loads on ya car but when u come to sell it its just a car and peeps aint that bothered about how much u spent on it they just want it for what a car the same standard would be.

See if u can find a lil chav who is just about to pass his test to sell it to. Thats what my mate did.
Brought his T reg westcoast for £5000, broke the sound system, ripped half the rear valance off, messed up the alarm, messed up the gearbox, broke a couple of buttons inside, put 30k on the clock and still got rid of it for £4000!
Funniest part was when the idiot brought it phoned him up 10 mins later askin how you turn the volume down on the stereo! My mate replied "never could work that one out - try takin it to halfords!"
