as above ive got a acer aspire 5920 lasptop and the wireless cuts in and out every 2-3 mins, my girlfriends got a toshiba laptop and hers is fine runing of the same router.
any ideas?

yh, its done it ever since ive had the laptop but seems to be cutting off more and more, ive gone back to the wired now, fast as fuck compared to what the wiress was!

may need a better wireless network adapter mate are you stationed near the router? as signal becomes fades through walls ect.

The first thing I'd be looking at is your wireless drivers on the laptop. From experience, acer laptops with vista seem to have problems with the wireless. Have a search on the internet for an updated set of drivers

are you using windows own drivers or a third party?

Definately drivers, update the drivers to your laptops wireless adaptor. Vista has loads of compatibility issues.

Id say its more IP ADDRESS related rather than drivers.... from experience. Best off setting a manual IP to all devices on the network.

try chaning your wireless channel on your routerz.
