You just posted on a saxo forum, everyone to post after this one will say VTS.

yeah i know that just people on here will be more critical and if they know of any problems with them they will come out and say it rather than if i posted on a corsa forum

Just try drive both IMO. If thats not possible then makes it other people's opinions.

I don't know much about the B, my mums 5 door 95 version is alright but is abit heavy steering sometimes, but thats hardly a 3 door sport.

wtf
What do you want either?

If you're spending a grand, get a run around.

Save up for a decent one later and worry about performance.

those corsas were heavy and slow, plus theyre more dated than saxos and more chav than saxos but only slightly.

I've been told the B handles well and goes well in the corners but tbh it wasn't the most reliable source and it was a 1.0 ecotec base model thing.

If you like the styling, the power from the engine, fancy a change, the lower insurance than an s, the safer shell, the reliability of a vauxhall then go for it.

I could see you getting bored but it depends on what you want and what you need it for.

yeah from what ive heard the reliabilty is pretty good and my friends got one full bilstein setup front and rear braces that handles pretty good but not that quick (1.4)

i can see myself getting bored init aswell thats why im in split minds...looking to start trackdays in the summer so thinking a vts would be best

VTS would be far better than that but costlier to insure. Corsa B's handle terribly without decent suspension mods.

i can confirm B's do handle like crap in comparison.

corsa looks nice mate but check for scrubbing on the wheel arches as one of my mates used to scrubb on 14" Wheels.

thats fecking gorgeous , Best wheels for any old vauxhall by a mile. Id still go VTS as I like corners, but I would drive that all day long if all roads were straight

is the sport the GSI? if so the gsi is the only corsa i would drive lol, heard they lack power though?

no the sport iirc is 103bhp and gsi is 105bhp but with a mantzel(s.p) inlet set up corsa owners reckon it will add around 10/15bhp:wacko:

Handling on these isn't bad at all imo. (had enough of them..)

They are quick for what they are, feels more safer than the spaxo, but I just get a kick out of driving it for shitz n' giggles (the saxo that is..)

Whoever you have spoke to about the mantzel is right, they'll happily take a beating.

Only thing I found was on the GSi's, there are 2 different engines, I never had any luck with the Ecotech's ... oil stems kept breaking and then the heads went.
Try get the non-ecotec one if you're opting for any, they get leaky & smokey.

there not bad. had a 1.6 sport when i was 18. lowered 60 at back and 40 front. handled good. egr valve got choked and had to get it cleaned out but apart from that it was fine.
