hi all can you help i just got the pioneer all in one screen with the sat nav and wanna have a go at installing it i have installed screens befor but this one i need to find the speed pulse generater wire which need to be connected for the sat nav any one knows where the wire is.

the speed pulse is at the back of the clocks. the best way to test for this is to get a NON flashing led put a wire on to one leg and put that to earth and then put a bit of wire on the other leg and with this one you need to test the wires at the back of the clocks. a speed pulse does what it says on the pin, it pulse's when you move. i get a sharp metal spike and put the test wire to it and probe the wire, you dont have to go fast so just creaping fowared will work. a speed pulse goes from + to open circuit to -. when you have the right wire the led will flash when you are moving and stop when you stop. smileys/smiley14.gif
