..mate of mine traded in his ps3 months ago, he had bought the new maps for COD4 on it, before he traded it in they (thought) they had wiped everything, now months on some wee shite has spent over £300 on games on their account, so if your trading one in watch out

Who's fault would you say it is, game's or his? :fcuk:

I wouldn't know tbh, I think it should be responsilbility for both parties. You wouldn't throw away your un cut credit card and bank statements in the bin would you? It's just the same. Anything of value or that might affect your identity theft I would say would be your problem/responsibility. Would you leave Game your credit card and pin number for a night? You might be able to trust the company but you certainly can't trust the people who work for the company. How many jobs do you know where there has been internal theft? Im sure it happens everywhere.
I'm afraid your just one of the unlucky ones to get caught out. Hopefully Sony/Game can help tack it and might get some insurance out fo it. That's a HUGE IF though.

Yeah i hope for his sake they do manage to trace it, game must have some record of who bought the console, but at the same time they could have sold it to somebody else :panic:
