I have one buddy, and i love it!! There a few things with it that annoy some people, like no flash, recording facility, etc. But with all these apps you can do most of that stuff!!

They do have problems, but mainly user faults, not manufacturer faults, its just that people dont know how to use them properly... Nokias have the most manufacturers faults...

There is no flash!
But there apps that enable you to record, and send MMS. But say you receive a MMS you just use safari to view it, afterall it is a 3G!
That is the one of the reasons i got it, for the intraweb.

That cant of been direct from o2 though... maybe carphone warehouse etc on o2 network...
Cheapest from o2 direct is £45 tariff to get it free....

Such as?
characters left in a text message, full bluetooth compatibility, lack of authorised tethering to a laptop (mobile internet). gps is focking useless without any realtime navigation software (google maps AIN'T realtime navigation software). there's more but need to use it to remind myself of the probs...

You have internet on the phone, you really don't need full bluetooth compatibility and why in gods name do you want realtime navigation software on a phone? Google maps will tell you exactly where you are and where you're headed, what more do you need?

NO that was from o2 DIRECT, they wanted to keep me as a customer so offered that deal to me.
They gave you a subscription discount then of £10 a month and robbed you by giving you a reconditioned one... How long you had it? If less than 14 days id be getting on to them...

I have internet on the phone, all the more reason to have bluetooth compatability... so i can share the net with devices that dont have it.
Also its nice to be able to pass a few pics or vids from phone to phone at the click of a button.
Have always use tomtom on my old Nokia 6680, handy as hell having the world with you wherever you and your phone are.
Google maps app will tel you where you are and where you want to gom it will even take the piss by moving a little marker along your path you you know where you are in your journey, it just wont budge the map along for you so you need to keep pushing the map along manually & constantly tap the screen so it doesnt lose focus and lock itself. Really its a joke where they drew the line with the maps app...
I agree with Ads, its a lovely device but apple just arent ticking all the boxes for the amount of dosh we are throwing their way...

I also though i'd hate the texting but i quite enjoy it. You'll need to adjust the way you spell now though, i cant see the predictive text making much sense of what you just wrote...
