has anyone heard about the government brining in new legislation about cars and catalityc converters on certain cars from 2001 onwards

No but they have bought in stricter emission standards for cars from 2001 on, so anything from Y on is now going to pay road tax through the nose! (Gotta love my T reg!)

we have just started to make type approved cats glad mine is an s reg he he ive seen the prices of some of them
