106 gti mirror baseplates - same as saxo?

As above really, are the 106 gti baseplates the same as a saxo?

basically, can you fit 106 mirrors to saxo baseplates? As im thinking of getting 106 carbon mirror caps and 106 mirrors?

106 mirrors fit a saxo yes.

the baseplate is part of the mirror on OE stuff
