If im overtaking someone il hit naughty side of speed limit not really purposely but because of the shear power my car has. As soon as i hit the loud pedal burble turbo whistle followed major stomach rush.

ive done this going up a hill where it changes from 30 to a 40 floors it got it to about 48 .

saw a fluescent jacket at the bus stop just stood on the corner of a bllock of houses, and yep the po po with a speed gun jumped on the breaks he dropped the gun looked at me shook his head and put his gun back up :P

iv been overtaking on duel carageway near york, doing about 90-95 in the fast lane, past about 8 cars, then a police motorbike, he pulled out behind me, i slowed to 65ish, then he overtook me and put his thumb up..

I have 3 points for speeding and felt like an arsehole when i got caught. As of then i cant tell you how many times ive stopped in a middle of a road to get out and argue with someone thats too close behind me, just because i was doing the limit. Speeding is wrong end of. Its the main thing im concious of when driving.

for instance this morning on the m42 i was doing 80mph for a good half hour before islowed it down to 70 as it started to get busy..

however

if it is really quiet on the roads sometimes i wont realise how fast i am going and all of a sudden be slowing down as i am almost going around a ton... i don't speed on purpose or to get anywhere quicker sometimes just don't realise....

agree with you there mate tbh....if i was on an empty motorway at 3am i honestly can not say i would stick to 70mph all the way home...

Like you said on motorways when you're able to do so then yes, but im talking about when i got caught, its a completely different situation. A built up area, a primary school, 39 in a 30 zone. Never again, my work and everything i need are very near to where i live and most areas are very built up so theres no need to speed.

agreed i think to say you have stuck to every speed limit since you started driving is a stuid thing to say because its blatent bullshit everyone speeds at times the idiots are the one driving like nutters. tbh slow drivers seem to be the ones that almost cause crashed cause you have some slow twat on a back road and evryone is trying to overtake them almost seen plenty of collisions due to slow driving.

when i did get caught i braked like 2 seconds to slow.. in the pictures as proof they send you, you can see my back end down after pulling handbrake up, bit of smoke from rear wheels, and all brake lights on haha :P
