Recently got given an amp.

It's a 4 channel amp, one which I'm not familiar with..

Some pictures:

I know how to power it, remote turn on, ground etc but not sure on the inputs and outputs.

Input:

Which of the two phono inputs do I use for just a sub? 2 or 3 channel? And which terminals are these? The bottom two? (One is missing a copper cover, but this can easily be transferred over).

Output:

I thought this would be the 3 channel mono mode which I assume is bridged but this doesn't seem to work and niether does the 2 channel?

I really don't understand this amp so any help would be good. Thanks!

Looks old, and overcomplicated...

Put the switch in 2 channel mode.
Put your rca leads on the 2 top plugs
Wire your sub up to channel 2 and bridge it.

Thanks, I will try that..

Which terminals shall I wire up the sub to though? Top or bottom row?

Bottom row

Positive being the one on the very right and the negative being the one on the very left.

Leave all the others out.

Ok I'll give that ago.

Any other way round if this fails?

By the looks of it, it isnt designed to be a mono amp but if you put it into 3 channel mode, you will get a left, right and mono.

The RCA inputs would then be: Left and Right in the top two and your mono channel into the bottom right.

The outputs would be top left hand two screws are the right hand channel, the top left hand two are the left channel and your sub would be bridged from the bottom left (-) to the bottom right screw (+).

This the best way then?

Red = Inputs

Green = Sub outputs

Personally i dont think that will work. It dooesnt look like it'll work but you can try it. I would go with what I said earlier.

Or if you really just want a mono amp, go with the outputs you have highlighted above but combine your RCA left and right into one channel (probably using another dual to mono RCA) and plug it into the bottom right RCA point (the one labelled 3ch mono). Leaving the switch on 3 channel as well.

Thanks for all your help.
Spent a good hour trying to make it work, tried every combination with my head stuck in the boot - no luck.
Thanks again.
