vibration

my car seemed to be pulling to the right so i got it tracked, it was fine for a bit but started pulling to the right again and the steerin wheel has turned out of place and isnt straight too.. driving back from work today i felt bad vibrating on the streeing wheel from the front drivers side wheel and every now and then there was a loud clunk/ knocking noise..

anyideas what it could be ball joint etc? or what i should be looking at?
