I'd be a bit worried about running 400bhp through just the front wheels...but thats not to say it isnt done!!
I can think of better things to spend £12k on though...lol

What's the point?

..It wouldn't be able to put it all down

I assume its 400bhp at the flywheel, not the wheels...but still gonna be too much power for a fwd car to use productively, even if he has got an uprated diff/LSD (dont know if it has...couldnt be arsed to read it all.lol)!!

just what i was gonna say, i reckon only about 200bhp - 250bhp would actually be usable through front wheels. :drink:

My thoughts exactly. In my opinion, the owner has taken a Saxo, shoved in silly power and ruined it's purpose- its no longer an easily accessible, nimble, nippy fun small car.
It wasn't engineered with anywhere near that power in mind, it's chassis foundations are simply not designed for that sort of thing.
Doesn't help that it looks like a complete mess as well.
A properly track-focussed, lightened Saxo, without OTT styling and running about 160-180bhp would be a million miles better IMO.

i agree, 180bhp is more usable than 400+ lol, on a track i rekon one wit around 200bhp and a good suspension setup would easily beat this. why spend that much money whne you ccant even use the power?

It started life as a 2002 98BHP VTR, but since then has been engineered to be a 400BHP VTS turbo powerhouse with a HUGE a/v system
int a 2002 plate vtr 100BHP

what an absoule waste of money, even if it did have 400 bhp it would end up on it's roof in no time, think if i was spending £12000 for 400 bhp i would go for an evo a car capable of producing it and handling it
