can someone tell me how you open the bonnet via the bonnet catch when you have a dimma grille?

i have one of these dimma look alike grilles (below) but i want to cut the parts circled in yellow off and re-mesh it but unsure how i would get the bonnet up without having to cut big hole in the mesh

Might be a long shot but I bought my dimma off Ryan (the mod) and that one had pre cut holes for the bonnet catch. He may have meshed it himself Im not sure. See what he says ;)

I meshed my own grill and i just cut away part of the mesh so that i can release the catch. Unless you know know where the hole is, its hard to find (black mesh)

On my grille i just left a little gap between the mesh and plastic, just enough so i can push up the catch, you can't tell the difference.

Meshed the grill for the VTR.. Couldn't think of a way of getting around it as i was looking for one.

Tbh, with some time working out the minimum the hole can be, it's not noticeable at all.
