Genuine help needed (paypal)

Morning everyone

need a bit of help in regards to paypal won turbo off ebay payd via paypal as that was an option but rung seller up and he doesn't have paypal so looks like Ive sent it to an email address with no account, how do I cancel the payment and get the money back?

E-bay could be partly responsible as it allowed you to pay this way even though the seller doesn't have paypal....? Shouldn't give you the option unless e-bay/the seller have cocked up.

ya i know they cocked up but need to get monies back otherwise im going to be out of pocket

If the money has gone from your account, it will automatically get refunded back to you once the system realised there is no account for it to go into - I had a similar problem to this last year

log into paypal and look at the history.

It should appear as unclaimed.

You can select and cancel

stupid bastards its says completed!!! i dunno why but the spoke to guy before and he doesn't have an account and i know you can recieve payments to hotmail address with no paypal because someone has done that to me before

I paid for something had £20 in paypal and rest was taken from bank account well in process of

Email paypal mate and explain the problem and they sort it out. I had a simlilar problem a while back, within a coupla days they had my money sent back to me.

It'll automatically get put back to your account if it has no-where to go, don't worry.

Ring PayPal to confirm if you want though :y:

ah this is a pain in the poo shoot, just been on the phone to paypal and woman said because the email address may have registered for an account before then thats why it went through even tho its incomplete. She also said if thats the case then said person will get email saying you have payment to claim here please sign up to claim again.

ahhhh!!! i just need the thing cancelling!
