Wiper problem

Last night on the way into town the drivers side wiper decided it didn't want to come back down. It goes ok when stopped or driving very slow, but when driving sort of 30+ it won't come down any more:wall: They are gliding over the window ok as the blades are only a week old, it was quite windy last night and i was doing about 70 so could i have knackered the wiper motor?

Any ideas? and possible costs. Thanks for any help.

My instant thoughts would be the wiper motor. Check around scrappys and ebay for a cheapish one. This is a rough guess I guess at the end of the day a garage can help you out more.

Oh and wiper motors cost about £10 - £20 iirc

if your gonna go through the trouble replacing the motor mate id rather just buy a convertion and have one window wiper looks alot nicer :y:
