saxo ppl out there.. help needed plz

my saxo was the 1.4 westcoast, which now has the vts lump in it.. but the immobiliser is stopping it working,, i have the key loom and ecu with it but the immobiliser is not turning off.. is there something im missing out on.. can any 1 help ?

maybe get rid of the immobiliser box - it's black and right up under the passenger side dash.

I have read that the ECU can lock itself again when you swap ECU's/keys etc. but best bet is to remove the box first and go from there.

Yea, i think theres a bit of a process to unlock the ECU but can't remember it.

Not sure if you turn the ignition on and unplug the transponder. Someone will know.

where abouts is that black box any1 know.. im looking around the passenger side where the fuse's are but can see nothing ?

well the problem that i had with my car immobiliser.... was one wire had started to rub underneath the gear stick, taking the casing off the wire ..... so damp etc was getting in meaning the car wouldnt start .... sont know if this will be the same problem with yours, but maybe get a good autoelectrician to have a look for you ?
