any ideas what this could mean it came on 4 a few hours this morning but seems to have stopped now, anything to worry about?

Yes.. Air bag could be faulty.

Looked under the chair to see if the airbag (orange cable) hasn't came uncliped? Wouldn't hurt even to pusy it back in. Failing that your airbag may be at fault.

(Why is there a air bag wire under the seats?)

it's normally just the wires come loose under the drivers seat

mines the same, tred wiggling and unpluging/pluging in and no joy,

can i just cut an solder the wires so i dont have the plug?
i dont mind not bein able to remove the seat,

has anyone dun this ?

(Why is there a air bag wire under the seats?)

for the seatbelt pretensioner
its a small explosive (similar to the airbad detonator) that pulls the belt tighter in a crash

also the additional wires for seat (side) airbags are there too
