help?

Hey well i just got a 2000 vtr,last night the engine managment light came on flashes a couple of times and goes off it happens about every 10 seconds,then it stopped completly was fine this morning turned the car on tonight afer work and it started again any ideas? also it doesnt stall it all seems fine.The other thing is most of the time my temp gauge is it the 3/4 mark any ideas why or is this normal? :wacko: Any help would be great.

could be your coil mine did the same thing plugged it in to diagnostics at work and it said it is the coil pack change your plugs while the coil is out
