right, start off with my clocks going divi! i though it was a bad earth, removed and clean areas etc, no change
now its getting worse. for the past few days its be doing that, lights going dim and everything bearly works, no heater or radio, however.. no battery light on, after a while she'll cut out because battery is dead.. i.e no fuel pump :( grrrrrr

sometimes it'll be totally fine!!

just wanna check before i go out and get parts! me and the guys at work are pretty dam sure its the alternator but i wanna check, i'm skint!!!!:wall:

borrow a multi meter and see if its charging

im sure halfords do a free battery and alternator check still :y:

you havent been cleaning the engine bay by any chance have you??

charging fine at one point having problems checking it when its dying as im always on the side of the road! grr lol cleaned it about 2 weeks ago pred. dials have done it since i got it but this prob started last friday

sounds like somthings draining your batt mate, have you cleaned your batt terminals?

hmmm you may have got water into a sensor or wiring somewere mate

cleaned all the plugs and terminals lads :( got a alternator for 20quid so i can always try it
