plasma dial help

hi i jhave just fitted my plasma dials and they light up when the igniton is off but when i turn it on they go off, i have wired it up to the red wire and the earth, any help please

you must have got the wire round the wrong way some where m8 try changing them round, worst you will do is blow a fuse

just tried that and nothing happend this time, you wouldnt happen to know what colour the sidelight wire is? cheers
