how do you know the crankshaft has gone?

If not, then how the hell did you manage to break them all?

at a guess i think he has blown the diff in the box, thus fucking clutch as covered in oil and probs knackered a driveshaft.

It would be very hard to brake a crankshaft lol things to go before the crank are more likely to be the conrods and your big end shells, as said i think you mean driveshafts.

Was going by what the Rac man said, i no what a drive shaft is. And its deffo not broken as its still in the gearbox.

I bought the car from a Garage less than 3months ago, do i have any comebacks on the garage? Car has done less than 70k and ive only done about 3/4k in the car. It did say Sold as Seen on the paperwork, but a friend has told me all garages have to give a minium of 3months?!

All depends on if you bought with warranty or not. Ring the garage and complain got nothing to lose.

we dont know whats wrong with the car so cant say on engine, if you read above other things go before crankshaft.

get someone proper to look at it not an RAC recovery man.

Also depends on what you were doing at the time, very rear they just go bang for no reason, i should know i have blew a diff.

The car wont start, the petrol pump wasnt priming, so i asked the rac tech, and he said it will be the crankshaft sensor?
