Screeching/squealing noise?!

hi there,
im running a 98 1.1 saxo at the minute.
just recently whenever im driving there is a distinct srcreeching/squeal coming from the car, it sounds like its from a wheel.
i have no idea what it is but it sounds serious?

help please!

Have you checked the alternator drive belt to see if its tensioned correcty or needs a new belt.

almost certain is the shoes on the back wheels

no just need new shoes mate. not dear at all and pritty easy to do.
