Anyone had similar issues (rust/hole in rear inner arch)

Looking at picking up this VTR, but the only issue is this hole which can be seen below

wondering if its a known issue ? or what may have caused it

I think its fair to say that a lot of saxo`s get this problem,how bad is the rust?ie surface rust or crumbly/rotten.

thats a errible pic as i cant seem to edit it ? but its almost like its been punched through, didnt know what saxos are like for rust tbh, but if its common im not so worried

I had a bit of rust there, but i just sanded it down and reprayed lol :D

its not too hard to get fixed tbh

my old westcoast had surface rust there just sanded it and stonechipped. my vtr has a hole in the inner wing by the ecu lol welding time :)
