PS3- Am i just unlucky??

Has anyone else had issue with their PS3?.. I originally bought one in June of this yr brand new, in Oct the laser that reads the discs failed (end of gaming!!), Sony supplied me replacement within two days, x-mas get couple new games go for afternoon gaming session and..... laser readers packed up!!.
Awaiting another console to be delivered under warranty, am i just unlucky!! :n:

Sounds like the first one you had was part of the faulty batch that came into the UK. I was working in retail then and we had a stockpile of faulty PS3's. As soon as new stock came in, they had to be swapped with faulty consoles.

They probably replaced it with one from the same batch :P

Yeah, I haven't had any problems same with any friends or family we all still have our first Ps3's.

never had a problem myself - and i avn't heard about anyone else tbh

Ive had one since launch day. Apart from a few crashes its been perfect
