with 320, some people have had problems with it. Just depends it's iffy I would go somewhere around 120 - 260.
with 320's people have said that their PS3 doesn't boot up first time, or they get error codes when starting up losing features :S I don't know the full details about them. Sorry.

Use the 320GB one, it will be fine. People with problems most likely formatted it wrong or have modded their PS3's.
Any genuine links to the problems people have had with a 320GB hard drive?

There are loads of ways you can format a hard drive and if you use the wrong method you will screw the drive up.
Chapperlin, that link gives me a 404.
