disconnect battery for ten minutes

two torx screws hold airbag in, turn wheel quarter of the way to get to them, undo them (they are built into the wheel)

disconnect airbag and store in a safe place

big torx bolt holding wheel in (dont undo it all the way leave a few threads on so you dont get hit on the face when removing the wheel from splines)

you will more than likely have to remove the airbag ring sensor, take the cowlings off, two torx screws on lower cowling and it should just unclip off

stalk needs to be moved out of the way, two torx screws (small) undo them and pull stalk out a bit then you can remove the ring sensor by undoing 3 torx screws

as said you will need to tape over the air bag light or take led or live with it flashing out its up to you

easy to do 3 torx screws from when you take the ring sensor out, undo them, this will allow you to get to the torx screws for the dial surround, 4 holding it in, 2 on the top and two hidden

fianlly the dials out, 3 torx screws, one at the top nd two on the bottom

then just unclip the plugs by pressing the tabs in to release them

undo the tabs holding the dial cluster to dial surround, and just tape over the light, hold it up to the light to get the right light if youve forgotten

i've never hit myself in the face when taking my wheel, just wiggle it off. Although leaving on the bolt is the safe way.

I find hitting the wheel with a rubber mallet frees it of the splines and I put a resistor in the end of the orange wires behind the airbag to turn the airbag light off.

Oh I fogot about the leaving the nut screwed in slightly then back the back of the wheel. A week or so ago I was taking my OMP wheel off, bashed the back of the wheel with the palm of the hang. Wheel then smacked in flush on the nose, swear I broke it :P.

Don't learn the hard way kids!! It f*cking hurts :P.!

careful cos airbags can still go off even when disconnected.
also i got a nice lick of the forehead when i took my wheel off. leaving the bolt in is a good idea lol
give it a thumb around the endges of the wheel, should free it up as they are usualyl a bit hard
