thanks for comments yall. had a few pm's askin how i did it. am doin 1 for some1 this weekend will take some pics and ask simo if he will stick it up on the how to guild what ya think. think it is somethings peeps will want to have a go at doin instead of paying £50+ for a dimma. its only costs about £10 depending on mesh and about £18 with paint.

did you spray the surround of the grille the same colour as your car? cause my one is plastic (unpainted)

yer they are all plastic. i just give it 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of citreon black same as car. if u go into halfords u can get 3 tins for the price of 2. not sure if its white primer or grey primer for blue saxo or if u need laquier. it will say on the index thing in halfords.

o give it a rub down with salt water get all the grime off and any back to black.
