car overheating

my car keeps overheating quite alot really but recently seems be getting worse today the temp just shot right up to the top and the red light came on while i was in traffic . i think it will be the radiator and water pump has anyone had problems like this... does anybody know how hard it is to change the water pump

have you tried to bleed the radiator 1st? this happened to mine and i had an airlock... bleeding the radiator fixed it! try that 1st might save you some cash! :)

As above try bleeding as its most commonly an airblock.

yeh its got anti freeze in, its basicly overheating within a couple mins of driving, ill bleed the system tomorrow if it doesnt work ill replace the radiator and pump.

if its went to the red have a look under the oil cap, hopefully your not cooking the head...
