ok guys ive searched the 16 pages of problems and for the life of me couldnt see anything that relates to this, but i do apologise if someones already asked, ive got and alpine headunit to go in my saxo 1.4 furio but for the life of me (AGAIN) i cant seem to get the old one out or find anyone thats got a clue how to do it... please help i wanted to get it in before new year... thanx in advance :)

you've been looking in the wrong place.
this problem will have been covered in the ICE section loads of times.
there is a hole on either side of the head unit. about the size of a piece of wire. put a piece of wire in each hole and it will slide out forwards. you could also use allen keys or proper removal tools.

go to an audio shop they should lend you the keys to get it out, takes seconds

a bit late but i just pushed mine out from behind. that wasn't with stock player but don't think it would be any different though.

Cheers for all the input guys :D finally got it out and my alpine CDA-9886R is sitting sweet as a nut in my dash... more mods to come hopefully get a thread going soon :D
